Three network are the worst company both for etiquette and for their network services. I am fed up with them. I have a contract which ended and when you ring them to cancel they refuse and force you to stay with them. Also they use foreign Labour. I don’t know they get away with paying people £1 per day and they make us pay hefty bills here in uk. I am not happy with them at all. Also I have a number which I was not using because of the poor network

I'm really disappointed to hear that you've found it difficult to arrange a cancellation. Our policy is certainly to ask to discuss the reason for a cancellation request, and to make an effort to explore how we can retain customers, but if this is refused we do expect staff to fulfill a request to cancel, whilst covering off any important information like checking whether any early termination fees apply, and making sure of whether the line is to be disconnected, or whether you would require a PAC to switch provider for instance.
Did you manage to resolve this in the meantime since posting? Please let me know if you still need any help with this.
Also as @Anonymous mentioned, if you'd prefer not to speak to someone there are some automated options like texting to get a PAC. You can read more about switching options here.

I disagree.
Three are an excellent network, and all the staff I have dealt with on Live Chat and over the phone have been polite and courteous.
Sure, you get a concluding sales pitch, but all you need to say is a polite "No thanks".
If you do however find it awkward to end your contract by phone or over live chat, then just simply do it online, or by texting 65075 for a PAC or 75075 for a STAC.
