Refused new phone due to failed credit check

I am currently facing the same problem as many others on here, I've been with 3 for about 8-9 years and never had any problems upgrading however this time I was told I've been refused due to credit check despite the fact that the upgrade was only £1.30 more than what I'm paying now. The customer service won't give me a satisfactory explanation or offer any help, they just keep fobbing me off saying either "try again in 90 days' or "we can set you up on a sim only plan) I'm not doing either of these things, my contract ends in less than a week so like many others on here it looks like I'll also be leaving 3 I've tried to make a complaint yet no one will put me through, simply saying "the complaints team won't help you" It's absolutely ridiculous as well as insulting to treat long term customers like this Very very disappointing

We do have a Complaints Team who can log this for you however, we can't guarantee the outcome you'd be looking for if this was a failed credit check.
