Totally Embarrassed by store staff and policies

  • This is the way I was treated and felt, Went to the store with my brother inlaw for a pick up collection, And I was asked if I wanted a sim only deal £10 I agreed as I was already a customer that already pays for 3 contracts for my children which in totalis £160 per month and i have been a customer for over ten years, my youngest son lost his phone on 5 November 2023 and i was paying for the contract till now, I was asked to show I'd  for this sim only and went to the car for drivers licence for this new sim, bare in mind they have my 3 contracts sitting active on there screen,and he says he will be a minute and came back and asked me to provide 3 months bank statements and stand and get a photograph with my drivers licence,MUGSHOT I thought this was duly uncalled for as I have signed in and showed him that I have 3 accounts with 3pay, And explained my sons phone data and calls have been getting paid for nearly 2 years £47 per month which was confirmed, and it was YOU that asked me if I wanted the sim, this has left me sitting wanting to cancel the lot as I feel as if they where assuming something when he approached me, He hard searched my credit even know I've paid every bill for over ten years even when I wasn't "able"it got paid, this is totally unacceptable and gross misconduct of power to hard search my credit for £10 per month when there was totally no reason to when all bills have been paid in full for many years over 10. I want out this company quick as I work hard for my credit rating not to be smashed for the sake of £10 per month SHAME on YOU 3PAY....

And wait for this there was 3 gentleman across the other table getting bran new iPhone 16 pro max, only words could be heard was sell sell, as the couldn't speak English.

I was becoming sympathetic to your post until you alluded to the race card when talking about the “3 gentleman”;and it is tacit racism.  So what if they couldn’t speak English. That’s a whole new ballgame to your original gripe which as Ive said I may have (on face value) some empathy with. You charge your argument with meaningless twonk in the hope it’ll strengthen it. If I were having a less than satisfactory time in a mobile phone shop 🙄I wouldn’t cite inferences to the language abilities of people in the same shop as me just because they were apparently successful in their endeavours. However aggrieved you may feel (with or without justification) you shouldn’t denigrate your argument in the manner you’ve done.
