Changed my Honor handset yesterday instore to a new Honor200 but it wont connect to my virgin media home broadband. It says avoided poor internet connection. If you try it, it says signal strength Excellent and connects, (stating ''Obtaining IP address'') then connects (says ''Saved'') and then promptly backs out and reverts to showing Avoided poor Internet connection.

Hi, here are a few basic things I would try ( you may have done these)
1. Make sure your Device is up to date.
2. Make sure your router is up to date.
3. Make sure your connecting to the correct router (this may sound stupid but it is not uncommon for routers especially from big brand names to have similar SSID's)
4. Restart your router. (Use the reset button check your routers manual for correct procedure)
5. Disconnect all devices from the router and try and connect only your phone. (all routers have a limit to how many devices can be connected at the same time, most of the time you never hit that limit but it is possible)
6. Test for isolation ( does the phone connect to other WIFI routers. if it doesn't it maybe defective)
7. Make sure the password is correct (sounds simple but passwords are case sensitive and if you mis-type this kind of issue can happen)
8. remove any saved WIFI Connections from your phone
If none of these trouble shooting steps work take the phone back to where you go it from or call the tech support number 333 from you device or 0333 338 1001
Hope it helps.
