Fledgling

I was abroad and ran out of credit. I wanted to contact Three to buy more credit. I couldn't contact Three because I didn't have any credit. You'd think that if you needed to buy credit Three would provide a means of doing so that doesn't require you to have credit.

Using WiFi is always an option. See topping up abroad for more info.

Salutary lesson. Ensure you have enough credit before you travel. There are many warnings about this and it’s not Three’s problem essentially.

Hi @Askme,

I'm sorry to hear about this. We do actually "zero rate" the Top Pp pages when you're in the UK, so that you can access these without credit. Totally appreciate that it's frustrating, but we don't have as much control when you're abroad using a foreign provider to roam.

I hope that this hasn't caused too much disruption, and that you're either home safe now, or managed to connect to an alternative Internet connection to arrange the Top Up.

Thanks,
Jonathan
