Why is so difficult to cancel a 3 mobile contract
I have sent a hand written letter to Glasgow customer services requesting cancellation signed dated etc.
They refer me to a helpline who just keep going round in circles of nothing!!

Hello @Ronv,
To cancel your contract, verification and a one-time passcode are required, so it wouldn't be possible to request this via letter due to the security risks involved of anybody being able to send a letter.
You can call or use the webchat option to connect with agent, and they'll be happy to assist with the cancellation 🙂
The webchat just requires specific words to push to an agent - for example, entering 'cancel' several times will populate an option to speak to somebody.

To cancel a contract you just need to call 333. They can confirm your identity and set the wheels in motion. Why on earth would you write to the Glasgow office unless you were advised to is beyond me.
