I noticed with SHOCK this evening that all the old bank accounts I'd used to set up direct debits in the past for my Three account were still all saved in my Three account. THERE WAS NO OPTION TO DELETE ANY OF THEM. I don't think this is nice. How can I delete the old bank accounts I'd previously used to set up direct debits from the Three platform? Anyone got a clue? I don't know why I find it upsetting that Three had not included a DELETE option for these. I'd like to delete my old details and would appreciate any help with this.

Hi @Drtonik,
Thanks for the feedback, I've flagged this up to our online teams. Customer services can cancel a Direct Debit, but they won't be able to remove the record of it from an account. I do appreciate where you're coming from though, so I've suggested that this info could either be masked to not show entire account numbers, or removed from online accounts.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @JonathanB thanks for helping flag this issue up to the right team. I'd strongly suggest they adopt your second option of removing from online accounts. Aside my privacy concerns, there is another reason. I did a current account switch into a new bank and the old account ceased to exist after my switch completed. But I can see it is still in my 3 records. That's not right. Besides, if for any reason, they think customers numbers should always be kept, then it should be very clear in the 3 terms and conditions, and reasons for this clearly explained. This whole experience has infuriated me to no end as I still cannot understand the reasoning behind that policy.

1) Call customer service on 333.
2) Ensure they’re cancelled by your bank.

Called them. Said they have no ability to delete. This was after the phone bot had rigmaroled me for several hours. Annoying

You misunderstand. I'm not interested in cancelling, I can do that myself via my app. I love doing stuff myself. I was talking about DELETING RECORD of previous direct debit. Read the subject title again.
