I’ve been a customer of 3 for over 15 years. For the last 3 years I have been experiencing lack of mobile signal for the vast majority of time. I live in Cheshire and signal is awful. I travel regularly to the South West and London and my phone is pretty much unusable. So ridiculous I’m going to have to move my contract and my sons to another provider.

Well my first thought is that if you’re experiencing poor signal in multiple areas it’s much more likely (but not a certainty) that your issue is handset rather than network related. I say that for a number of reasons. Firstly I too have been a Three customer for more years than I care to remember (apathy rather than loyalty applies) and I also travel to London and Cornwall on a semi regular basis and I’ve not experienced any issues. Yes there are black spots but they seem to be very few and far between. Secondly as I alluded to previously a network issue has a tendency to be ( but not always) localised and can be identified via the network status checker. So if it were me I’d start off by putting your SIM card in an alternative handset and seeing if that makes any difference and go from there.
