My phone is going straight to voice mail

I have two mobile phones - work and personal - both with THREE. When i call my personal phone from my work phone, it gets through but when i call my work phone from my personal phone it goes straight to voicemail. I only did the test because i kept getting missed call messages on my work phone - but it had never rung. 
I have checked the settings, the mute, the volume, the bluetooth etc etc. But they are all set correctly. 
Any ideas. 
Work phone is an Iphone16 and home phone is a Iphone 15 Pro. 
Baffled and annoyed!!

That is unusual! I understand you said you've already checked settings, but just wanted to check the following:

Have settings related to silencing Unknown Callers and Call Forwarding been checked to ensure calls aren't being diverted? Is Wi-Fi calling being used or is this turned off?

Please also try to reset your network settings. You can do this through the following steps:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Please note that this will delete all your saved Wi-Fi passwords, and Bluetooth connections, so you will need to re-enter passwords and re-pair any devices afterward.

If this doesn't rectify things and the settings all appear correct, please have a chat with Customer Services, and they'll check your account to investigate further with you.
