How do I read my One Time Passcode text which is sent to my home 5G router when I'm not at home?

Fledgling

I would like to be able to use the Three App when away from home to check data usage etc. on the other SIMs I have registered with my Three account. However, whenever I try to log in it always asks for a 6-digit One Time Passcode - and that is always sent via SMS to my main Three SIM - which is in my 5G router at home.

Is there a way of accessing these SMS messages remotely, or better still, having the One Time Passcodes sent to a different mobile number?

My router is the Zykel NR5103E V2.

 Any help would be appreciated!

Hello @Brave_Bear,

We didn't hear back from you on this, so I'm just checking in. Have you been receiving prompts for OTP every single time that you sign in?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi,

Yes - every time I try to log in using a PC it asks for an OTP. It's very annoying! I did contact Three customer support who changed the mobile number that the OTPs are sent to so I now receive them to my mobile phone, which is an OK work-around. But I don't know why I have to submit an OTP every time.

Thanks

Hi @Brave_Bear,

My understanding is that you shouldn't need an OTP for every log in, if you're using the same device that you've logged in with before it should only prompt for an OTP check every 30 days or so.

Is that not matching up with your experience?

Thanks,
Jonathan
