Missed payment affecting my credit score

Dear Three Customer Support,

I’m writing regarding a missed payment that has been recorded on my account for February, which I believe has occurred due to an issue on your side rather than any failure on my part.

My bank cancelled my Direct Debit on 7th February, and as soon as I became aware of this, I updated my payment details promptly on 10th February. Despite this, the update only appears to have taken effect in March, which resulted in the February payment not being collected and now being reported as a missed payment on my credit file.

I would like to make it clear that I took immediate action to update my Direct Debit well before the next billing cycle, and therefore this situation was outside of my control. I have also noticed that multiple customers have reported similar issues, which suggests this may be a wider system or processing delay rather than an isolated incident.

As a result, I kindly request that you investigate this matter and correct the missed payment marker reported to the credit reference agencies. Given the circumstances, I believe this entry is inaccurate and unfair, and I would appreciate it being removed as soon as possible.

This has had a negative impact on my credit profile, and I take my financial responsibilities seriously, so I would like this resolved promptly.

Please confirm once this has been reviewed and actioned.

This is our customer forum, and not a space where we can take action on accounts, but I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.
