I am speaking on behalf of my partner Claire haywood asking why has mycrs refused to set up a payment plan with Claire she can't pay the debt in full but she willing to set up a plan so why is mycrs refusing that

Unfortunately, if a balance has been passed to mycrs, it would need to be queried with them why the option of a payment plan isn't possible.
Payment plans being accepted can sometimes depend on the nature of the balance, how long it's been present, how long the payment plan is being requested for, and the size of the repayments.
There is a chat to us option on their website, where your partner can sign in and speak with their support team.
