Roaming data

Fledgling

Hi there, I went abroad a couple of weeks ago and I paid £12 for roaming data in Portugal but while I was there it never worked at all. Are you able to see this?

Hello @Robbie1,

Welcome to the Three Community. It's a shame to hear you weren't able to access your allowances during your trip to Portugal.

If you purchased a 7-day Go Roam pass for £12, did this show in your account after you bought it? Did you connect to a local network upon landing in Portugal and receive a welcome SMS, or did it display as no service for the entire trip?

Provided that roaming is activated on your device settings, your plan has sufficient data each month, and the spend cap is high enough to account for any additional charges, the pass should active automatically once you land and connect to a local network.

We can't check your account from here, but if you pop through to Customer Services, we'll check your billing to clarify the pass purchase and to see if any usage shows when you were abroad.

Thanks,
Michael

Best advice here would be to contact Customer Services on Live Chat and see what help they may be able to give.
