SOAP Activity Error

Mitchuk

Trying to purchase another sim card (Want a different number so not a replacement for my card) and all goes well until -

A "SOAP Activity Error" on the Three UK website or app generally refers to a technical fault in the communication between your browser/app and Three's internal backend servers.
SOAP stands for Simple Object Access Protocol, a method used by many large companies to exchange structured data between systems. When you see this error, it means the website's front-end cannot correctly read or send data to their database, often resulting in a failed action (like logging in, updating details, or buying an add-on).

Tried so many times its actually hurting my head - Vodaphone on the other hand easy as pie.

Either call me back and sort it or agree that three are at fault, and ill get my money back and go with BT or Vodaphone.

Hello @Mitchuk,

Thanks for sharing this and the additional error info.

Are you still seeing this error today? I can see that Gainn had shared that they were seeing the same error message, but that it's since been resolved.

It wouldn't be possible to arrange call-backs via Community as there's no account access from here.

If you haven't just yet, please try to complete the purchase again, and Customer Services would be happy to help with adding an additional line to your account.

Thanks,
Michael

Seems fixed now. Just been able to top up.

Glad you’re sorted!

Well instead of hurting your head further why don’t you just call customer service and tell them you want to change your number for whatever reason. Much easier and it’s cheaper than paracetamol.

Similar issue. Very frustrating,
