Hello @rileys,

Please be sure to report this to your bank (if you haven't already) to get the card frozen and to set up additional security measures for future card payments, such as one-time passcodes.

You can also report the number you were contacted by to by sending a text to 7726 with the message CALL, followed by the number that contacted you. This will make sure it is flagged on our end.

Thanks,
Michael

I had called up Three to alert them to this scam and to verify the validity of the website and it took 40 minutes to get through to someone from Fraud & Scam department, only to be read out the benefits of Three+ programme of a script. Embarrassing Three, absolutely shocking. Who are you actually employing here to help your customers?

Hi @LoganUK,

Thanks for helping raise awareness about these scams. This is definitely suspect as Three+ doesn't operate points based rewards and would contact your from "Three+" or "From Three" rather than display a mobile number.

It's safest to avoid clicking on the links in unknown texts like this, and I'm sure you didn't based on what you've shared, but make sure not to provide any personal details on a site like this.

Please report the scammers by forwarding the text to 7726 and this will allow our Customer Protection Team to look into this further. There's more guidance on how to recognise and report activity like this on our fraud to watch out for page too.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Just to add to this, we've edited the post title to remove the phone number. This may be a "spoofed" number which is being faked by the scammers, so it's best not to share an 07 number on the forums, just in case this is a real mobile which belongs to someone with no connection to the scam. Please report the number using the 7726 method and link I've shared above.

Thanks,
Jonathan
