Fledgling

Just had a call to say 3 were sending me a new SIM card tomorrow as I need this to keep using my phone. Call was cut off when agent couldn’t understand my questions.  Any advice? Do I need a new SIM card?

Hello @Alio,

This is a very common call that customers receive from impersonators - please don't share any personal info or discuss any account matters with them.

If you requested a new SIM, you'd expect to be receive one, but this isn't something that Three would otherwise do.

I'd advise you to block this number and report this to us by texting the word 'CALL' followed by the number to 7726. This will report this for free and make sure it's flagged on our end.

Thanks,
Michael

If you didn’t ask for a replacement SIM card then I’d be very suspicious if it was an unsolicited call. Your post doesn’t make it clear whether you asked or were just called out of the blue by “Three”.
