I was due for an upgrade and my white indoor broadband hub was working and still is so decided to go for a 5G Outdoor Hub + 1 Eero, which arrived today, i plugged the hub in as suggested and walked around the house for the best signal but it did not alter where ever i was, it showed 70 even in blank spots, then after a couple of minutes dropped to 00. I then plugged in the eero and tried but could not connect to the internet. I even tried doing the direct connect to a network cable, nothing. For now ive gone back to my old white broadband hub sat on the window sill. Any ideas what could be wrong or do i just send it back.

Hi @g4jnw-les,
It does sound like the new hub could be faulty, assuming that your indoor hub is picking up signal fine in the same places.
You can check the "How to guides" and "Fix a problem" section in our Device Support Pages, and these will help cover off common troubleshooting, but assuming that your SIM is activated and inserted correctly, I can't think of anything off hand which would cause this.
I'd recommend to get in touch, and the team can check if there's any issues with the account or diagnose if there is indeed a hardware fault.
Thanks,
Jonathan
