Hello,
I have 3 broadband via a 3 provided 5g Zyxel router, earlier this week i noticed issues with websites not loading, timing out and dns errors!
Further investigations show DNS names are now not all being resolved, i also use a vpn and this has also stopped working with the main VPN provider server address error - DNS cannot be resolved to IP.
My wife has also reported most of her games on FB no longer load - with the error unable to connect - hostname unresolved etc....
The issue is with the '3internet' APN, if i use 'three.co.uk' APN instead, everything reported as above starts working again but the flipside is i can no longer play xbox live as it is CGNAT (double nat) and my consoles NAT becomes stricta dnd no longer access my home pc, network or CCTV as these rely on a non-cgnat IP address.
Please 3 support can you look into this as everything was working fine until earlier this week.
Thank you.

Interesting. Do you happen to know what setting they changed?
I've been with Three 5G Home for 2 years now and actually pretty happy with the speeds (I may just be lucky with coverage) BUT the dns issue has been a nuisance throughout. Regular timeouts and having refresh pages. I switched dns providers (tried cloudflare, quad9 and my also local resolver with unbound) and that didn't help. The only "solution" is to use a vpn but I've just learned to live with it.
I hope there is such a thing a a magic setting that can fix it!

I concur, just got off 3 chat myself and had the same 'account settings' change, after reboot - now seems to all be working again,
Thanks Guy's!

I seem to be chatting with someone unable to understand - can you share what you said with us, perchance?

I told the operator pretty much what's in my OP, i also mentioned that i had my settings set for IPv4 only and he said he needed to change a setting on my account and we also need to be using IPv6 as well, told me to reset the hub and asked permission to change the IPv6 setting.
I use my hub in bridge mode as have my own router, so instead of disturbing my setup, i just changed back the IPv4 settings back to the original default IPv4&IPv6 and set the APN back to 3internet, rebooted, tested and all started working properly, no issues.

Hello there.
That's not great.
I noticed that a few people reported having a similar issue. It would be best to report the issue to the Home Broadband Team so it can be looked into. Some users have reported success after having the team reset their connection. Hopefully you'll have success with that too.
Pete.

Yes they tell us the same. Yet the 3 store in our local shopping centre is still selling the service.
