Freeze using home broadband for some time

AGFox
Fledgling

Hi, is there an option to atop using home broadband for a while and not to pay for it?

Thanks.

Hello @AGFox,

Thanks for sharing your query here.

You wouldn't be able to pause an agreement if you weren't intending to use it for a while. The monthly payments would still be required.

Are you travelling/away from home for a while, or are you experiencing some payment difficulties?

Thanks,
Michael

No I don’t believe so. If you’re having trouble with paying your bill (I’m making assumptions here) then if you discuss things with customer service they can agree a payment plan whilst keeping your service active. Apologies if I’ve jumped to the wrong assumption;feel free to correct me.

My, possibly incorrect, assumption was that @AGFox was going to be away from home for an extended period and doesn't want to be paying for home broadband whilst away.

AFAIK it is not an option offered by Three but it is worth asking support.

If you are elsewhere in the UK you could take the router or SIM with you to use but foreign roaming is not supported on home broadband SIMs

Your assumption may well be correct;it’s difficult to know for sure but your advice is good.
