Does using a SIM from a different provider work for the 5G Broadband Device? I tried an O2 one only to be asked for a “SIM Lock Code” to Unlock Device. This code needed to be 16 digits long and wasn’t the PUK Code for the SIM (8 digits long). Contacted Three and they said the device was pre-unlocked and should work with other SIMs.
Has anyone successfully used a different SIM card at all?

I have 4 ex Three routers, 3 from Three UK and 1 from Three Ireland. None are locked. Things may have changed with the latest ones though.
I do however use Three as it works best where they are after testing the other networks.

Hi there @JReev,
Do you know the device make and model that you are using? When did you originally receive this router?
I understand that older legacy devices may be locked, but the more modern ones should be unlocked.
Thanks,
Michael

Hello, Michael,
Think I've had the router from 2022, it's a Huawei H122-373. From what I've read on other community posts it is indeed locked. How do I look at getting this unlocked?

As far as I’m aware all routers are “sim locked” to this network. You could try asking customer services but I’m not sure how far you’ll get. Depends if you’re in contact or not. I’m not 100% sure on this and absolutely stand to be corrected so do call 333 and double check.

Which Broadband device? Three supplies several different models.

It's the Huawei H122-373. From what I've read on the community posts this one is locked, which explains the difficulties I've been having.
