Hi, safe search is locked on by 3 and I’ve tried to access network settings and change it but can’t see how. I can set parental controls but not remove safesearch. Any suggestions?

Hi @Asgoodasityetz, welcome to Three Community.
The adult content filter is switched on by default on all our devices, which does restrict access to some websites.
As you've posted in our Broadband board, I'm assuming that you're trying to change these settings for your Home Broadband router or a Mi-Fi. Just let me know if that's not the case though!
If you are, then you'll just need to give our customer service team a quick call to verify your age, and have that adult content filter removed. You can reach the broadband team by calling 500 from a Three phone, or 0333 338 1003 from another phone.
Hope that helps!
StephR

Hey @bradley,
I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble removing the adult content filter.
You can verify that you’re over 18 using a credit card by following the steps here to remove the filter. Alternatively, if you don't have a credit card, you can pop into your local Three store with a valid form of photo ID to confirm your age.
Thanks,
Kate

You still don't understand. Even with Adult Content filter turned off, 3 has still locked SAFE SEARCH so search engines will still apply a lock. Can 3 please remove the lock for Safe Search as the Adult Content filter is already turned off, if this is the same situation as mine.

Hi @Sambarino1,
I've just tested this from a Three SIM, although you'll receive a message to advise that safe search is locked to on due to a network administrator setting, once you've removed the adult filter, you can amend your safe search filter settings to blur results, or off completely.
You may need to switch your device off and on again after amending the filter settings before your browser updates to recognise the change, or you may need to delete your browsing history and/or temporary Internet data which is cached.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I've checked with my device provider that I've no restrictions still in place except the safe search which is actually locked by the network. I've spoken to three who have removed the restricted content but it's not updated the safe search. Now I'm left no further on. It's obviously three that have broken systems but don't want to admit it
