I dont need a cellular contract. If i get an apple watch on contract and just 1 month cellular will it only charge me for the 1 month cellular then default back to the device only payment?

If you purchase the Apple Watch and opt for the 1M Smartwatch Pairing Plan, you can cancel this plan at any time with 30 days notice.

It won't cancel automatically, so you'd need to chat with Customer Services to ensure it is cancelled.
