Bad signal and 4g

Ive never had any issues with either phone signal or 4g, but over the last few weeks it's been absolutely awful- have checked for outage etc but says its all fine in my area - am tied into contract and paying for a service that I am not receiving

I'm sorry to hear the signal has been letting you down recently. The first ports of call would be our Coverage Checker (which will show normal expected coverage) and the Network Status Checker (which shows if we're aware of any local issues we're working on).

If there's no known issues, or the coverage for your area now seems to be limited, or an issue seems to have been going on for a long time, the next steps would be to discuss this with customer services. They can look into some deeper diagnostics to identify if there's any faults the online checkers may be missing, and check in case there's any other issues with your device or account that may be somehow affecting the service.
