Network not working at all

Unable to make or receive calls at all. I have important calls that I need to make and receive. This has been ongoing a week now with no signs of improvement. What is going on? I’ve heard there is a merger between Vodafone and three but I have never had problems before. If this is due to the merger then worst decision to make your service unuseable. 

when will this be fixed??

Hi,

i noticed a carrier u[date to 64.2. 
 ( on iPhone go to settings general about. - wait from prompt then click update ). 

this may help.

First thing is to check the Three status page for any outages in your area. The merger will have absolutely zero impact on your ability to use your phone. I fail to see how you go a week with your alleged problem without calling customer service (if necessary from another phone) and then post on a public discussion forum instead. I’m sorry but it doesn’t add up, Questions; Are you contract and owing money causing your account to be suspended? Are you payg and haven’t made a chargeable call/text etc within the past 180 days again taking your number offline. Try calling your number from another phone. If you get number unobtainable then likely one of the two things I’ve just mentioned is in play.

First thing I did was I checked the network area and it stated an issue but non specific. Would be fixed soon. I did message customer service, was given it would be a quick fix but the issue is yet to be resolved. I’ve had to use another phone to make calls etc. May I ask what doesn’t add up? There is no alleged problem, it is a known problem.

The reason I mentioned the merger is due to the fact that there will be issues inherently with the joining of the two companies, with getting both technical aspects to work together well. Things won’t work perfect outright. Due to using different platforms, software etc. Therefore there is no absolute guarantee of zero impact. 
My sim is fine, this problem isn’t affecting just myself but all three network users in my area, unfortunately it is a technical problem with a mast. My hope was more attention drawn to the issue would aid in them pushing to fix the issue. We shall see what happens over the following week. Appreciate your input.

Firstly you failed to mention that you had already checked for issues which obviously negates the need for the advice I gave. As for the merger I repeat there will be zero technical impact in service. To oversimplify it’s a matter of allowing what is essentially a mast sharing exercise which  Three has accomplished previously through MBNL but this time it’s effectively all in house. It doesn’t add up that you fail to contact (or give the impression) customer service but laud it on here almost in the guise of performing a public service. I accept the thanks for my input.
