We are currently in Europe using a pay as you go SIM card with 40gb data pack purchased (38gb still available). Yesterday afternoon our phone suddenly stopped working unable to connect to the local network saying there was no SIM card in the phone.
We have rebooted the phone, toggled airplane mode off and on, done all software updates and removed & cleaned the SIM card with no success.
Any other suggestions please???

Hi again @GsyGal,
Did your SIM start working again? If not, were you able to arrange a replacement?
Thanks,
Michael

Hello there.
If the phone is saying that there is no SIM card, it would mean the SIM or the SIM card reader in the phone has failed. You can determine which one it is by testing your SIM in another phone, or testing another SIM in your phone.
Pete.
