Really bad signal and 5g

Since the merger with Vodafone, my signal has been terrible, struggle to make phone calls with 90% of them cutting off saying network busy. And my 5g speeds have been terrible. I'm paying for a service that I can't use

In the past week I've been in Kent, Essex, and Sussex. Not had any signal in any of them, frequently only able to make phone calls when connected to wifi. What's going on?

I've had 4G Plus home broadband for years and apart from the odd hiccup where a router reboot was needed, there's been no issues.

Then Vodafone entered the party and the internet connection now resembles what came out of my dog this morning.

Signal strength hasn't changed but whatever is supposed to be in the signal isn't!

Download speeds are non existent, internet drops out constantly.

3Three customer service, useless.

Couldn't offer me a replacement router to try.

The 5G Home broadband service isn't available in my area apparently, yet 4G is. The 5G router can use both 4G and 5G so why can't they supply that?

Basically, 3Three are now unable to offer the service to it's customers that we pay for. I'm not paying for something that doesn't work.

As this issue is so widespread maybe a law firm needs to get involved. There must be thousands of unhappy customers.

Same. I used to be able to hold a conversation on my hour-long commute to work with good quality signal. Since the merger it’s almost impossible with 10+ call drops on occasions to the point of just giving up. What used to be excellent 5G signal at home, now regularly 1 bar 4G which often produces such slow internet speeds the request times out.

The suggestion it’s a local issue is utter nonsense because it’s the same pattern everywhere I go all over the country. Before merger mostly fine and now, terrible. It’s the merger, plain and simple.

It's awful. I live in a city centre and ever since the text about the merge my signal has gone from a decent 5G to a 1 bar/0 bar 4G. Speedtests fail to even start. Support = Sorry we can't help.

Complete garbage here too, since the text about the merger, could be coindcidence but I think not. I've gone from a full 5G signal to 1/0 bars of 4G, speedtests fail to even run.

The signal from Three is the worst of all the networks, even in central London there are so many areas with poor or no reception.

I'm in Gloucestershire and exactly the same as everyone else my data was absolutely brilliant before the merger, 5g all through my house, I could use my phone as a hot-spot to play on xbox and watch Netflix but now I can even download a 3mb video message on WhatsApp. It's a joke really, what am I paying for if I can't actually do anything??

My coverage has been absolutely appalling since the merger. I used to have consistently good 5g coverage and I now have almost none. It’s just disappeared. Three need to sort this fast otherwise I’m moving as soon as I’m out of contract - I don’t have a functional mobile phone any more and there’s no point paying for that!
