Scam phone calls

So the past 2 mornings I’ve received phone calls from an unknown mobile number and due to it being unknown I just let it ring through and they left an automated voicemail both times. 

Both calls relate to not miss out on a 50% discount for my current contract and to ring the following number 0330 808 3820

I received a call from a number in Cardigan, Wales, 01239, claiming to be from Three network.  I told the caller I was not interested in any sales pitches and I hung up.  I reported the call to the 776 number as I suspect it was a scam call, given that Three call centres are based overseas, not Wales.

You've done the right thing there, we wouldn't call from a 012 number. Just to confirm, the number for reporting to is 7726. Wasn't sure if that was a typo, or if you had the wrong number.

That's not a call from Three. It would be best to report the number they have asked you to call by sending it in a text to the number 7726.

Same I also received a call from them, 03308083820 called me today. I Didn’t answer and they left a voicemail “Dear sweet” (Three) “customer This is a reminder that the 50% discount offer on your three account expires today To take advantage of this discount please call us back at 03308083820 between 9 am and 5 pm Thank you for choosing sweet” (Three) “as your service…”
