WiFi calling stopped working

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I do not get mobile network connection in my home and rely on wifi calling.

I use BT broadband. I have a wireless router.

I have had the same setup for two years and had no problems until now.

Since this morning, I have been unable to make any wifi calls. I can still use facetime, iMessage, safari and social media apps. It is only wifi calling that is not working.

I have checked all settings are enabled for wifi calling on my phone, I have tried toggling wifi off/on I have also toggled mobile data & airplane mode off/on. I have tried turning my phone off/on. I have reset network settings and disconnected/reconnected to my wireless router. I have also checked my router speeds which are normal - as I’ve mentioned above I have still been able to use the internet as normal on my phone. I have also walked away from my house to attempt making a call using only mobile network and it works.

Despite this, wifi calling is still not working. I cannot receive or make any phone calls.

I work once a week on call - I need to resolve this ASAP.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

EDIT - to add, my partner is on EE network, also does not get mobile network signal in our home but has no issue with making wifi calls so I do not believe it is any issue with our internet connection.

Sorry to hear this, so just to clarify you weren't affected by the outage yesterday, and it's only Wi-Fi calling affected? When did the issue return?

Hello, my wifi calling has stopped working. 

I have no way of calling anyone as I live in an area with no network coverage. 

My parents are the same over the road from me. 

I have downloaded updates and restarted my phone and still no wifi calling.

I need to know when this will be sorted please.

I  have  phone calls I need to make tomorrow to do with my autistic son's EHCP.

Plus if there is an emergency I can't call anyone.

Please hell.

I'm really sorry to hear this. There was an outage yesterday affecting calls over both the 4G network and Wi-Fi calling. Is the service working again for you now? If the issue persists please try restarting your device and let us know if you're still having trouble with your calls.

i had this problem and it was sorted when I updated the three network.

however it’s stopped working again today.

Sorry to hear that you've been experiencing issues with calling again. It's most likely to be related to this issue Calling issues 25/06/2025

I have exactly the same problem on my iPhone 15pro, running 64.2 still no wifi calling. Really need it working, I’d appreciate help and advice.

Turn WiFi calling on! I no longer believe the issue is network related.

I’m fixed now. Updated software. Turned off and on again. Toggled airplane mode. Back on.
