Hello all, when I try to purchase apps I keep getting an error saying I have used all my spend cap limit when I have not. Spoken to someone at three who says all is ok at three's end and I need to speak to apple. Spoke to someone at apple who says it's a Three issue..
Some details that may have a bearing
Recently changed to a Three esim, recently returned from Greece where Three roaming was costing £2 per day. Ended up getting a Greek esim when my 12 GB fair usage was nearly up. Deleted the Greek esim when I arrived back in the UK. Also phone didn't revert to UK time when I got back from Greece some location service settings for some reason had disabled them selves and I thought that was something to do with the Greek esim as it change to Greek time without me doing anything.
Thought the problem was cos of the Greek £2 per day but after my allowance reset it is still doing it.
Spend cap is currently set at £20 and tried with no cap and still no joy.
So as of now Apple and Three both say everything is as should be their respective ends..
Can anyone shed some light on what's going on please

Hello there.
That's strange. The spend cap doesn't actually cover ThreePay. ThreePay will work even with a Spend Cap set to £0. Is it possible you've reached the credit limit? It might be worth checking the notification again to be sure. If you have, then you should be able to buy things again once your next payment is made.

Hi thanks for the response...The exact wording is as follows
You have reached your mobile phone spending limit ( is this my spend cap). To make purchases, please contact your mobile network provider or provide new payment method.
Bought what I needed with a bank card but ideally want payments going on my phone bill...
Hope that helps ??
cheers

I don't believe this is the spend cap that's normally configured within My3. I think the limit that's being referenced here is the spend limit that's normally specific to 3rd Party Services. Do you know how much has been spent on 3rd party services this month? If it's over £240, you won't be able to spend anything else until the following month.
Pete.
