We are trying to change ownership of a Three pay monthly account from my wife's name, to my son's now he is 18. Three Customer Support are saying that their system doesn't currently allow this. Has anybody been able to do an ownership change recently, and does anybody know when the system will allow it?

It’s been like this over a year every phone call that I make to the free company they always say the same thing saying that called back in the month and we will be able to transfer ownership to a new person but it’s always the same answer to us and it’s getting very annoying

You used to be able to do it but unsure if this is still the case due to their system upgrade. Are you able to change the bank details so at least the direct debit comes out of your son’s account worse case. You should be able to do this on your online account. Maybe @JonathanB can clarify this.

Yep that's the only option we were given. The contract ends in November so we'll just have to move to a different provider to get it into his name properly. All seems a bit silly really.
