Go Roam on a lite plan

I am going to France next week and I have a lite plan, it says go roam is excluded, do I need to buy a pass in advance or will it just charge me £2 a day when I get there?

@tarantella is right, you have both options to use the £2 daily charge or you can buy a Go Roam pass.
