Phone stolen and sim used to set up fraudulent third party chages

Aug3rmachina
Fledgling

Hi all,

My phone was stolen in January, and it was only upon receiving an email to check my bill a week and a half ago that I've seen £20 worth of "Third Party Charges" added to my account.

Despite having a police report readily available, and documentation proving that these charges were set up and took place before I was able to procure a replacement SIM via Three, the assistants I spoke with led me around by the nose for two hours refusing to acknowledge it as fraud or for them to even give me a correlation ID in order to dispute the unauthorized payment via google.

I've searched and have seen that other people have had this issue with a similar lack of recourse, I would like to know if anyone has any next steps to help me.

Thank you.

Hi there @Aug3rmachina,

I'm sorry to hear that your phone was stolen and used to generate fraudulent charges.

I completely understand your concern with this, and I'm going to send you a PM to put you in touch with some colleagues to see what can be done to help.
