I have received a text supposedly from 3 regarding rewards expiring shortly. 07*********. This has a link to a professional looking website with rewards listed.

This just happened to me. I wasn’t sure about the website because it did look established, called my tech savvy partner to discern.

Yes, I just had exactly the same text which took me to a website which looked very much like the Three website. I reported it to 7726 as spam  Three need to get this taken down as it will certainly fool people  I didn’t fill out any personal information on the site. I hope I’m safe!

Had the same link via phone number +44 7428 29****

The Three App Rewards doesn’t even exist on the actual app.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for contributing to this thread. I will please ask you to refrain from posting mobile numbers though. Scam calls and messages are often "spoofed" which means the caller ID is faked and the scammers don't necessarily have access to the real phone line which corresponds to the number.

It's clear there's a few different numbers being used based on the responses. Please report these by forwarding the text to 7726 and this will allow our Customer Protection Team to look into this further. There's more guidance on how to recognise and report activity like this on our fraud to watch out for page too.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @MRLC,

Thanks for helping raise awareness about this scam. Our official rewards App is Three+ so when we text it should display from "Three+" or "From Three" rather than display a mobile number.

It's safest to avoid clicking on the links in unknown texts like this, and I'm sure you didn't based on what you've shared, but make sure not to provide any personal details on a site like this.

Please report the scammers by forwarding the text to 7726 and this will allow our Customer Protection Team to look into this further. There's more guidance on how to recognise and report activity like this on our fraud to watch out for page too.

Thanks,
Jonathan
