Hi @robertsbill03,

It's certainly possible this could be genuine, as we do use 03 numbers in that format. Unfortunately "spoofing" is more and more prevalent, which is where scammers fake the number they're calling from. Most give themselves away as they call from 01, 02, or 07 numbers which wouldn't be used by organisations like Three as those are personal landlines and mobiles.

The only way to be 100% certain is to get in touch, and customer services will have notes on your account if we've been trying to reach you.

You may also find this page on fraud to watch out for helpful, as it has tips about various scams and how to report them.

Yep. Defo SCAM.Just off my call with Three.

"Three do not call customers" is the statement from them. When I called them to ask about my contract in the last 5 minutes.

So there you have it.

That means that this number is pure SCAM too.  03333381303.  Because they've been calling me pretending to be Three.  Can't wait to blow the football whistle down the phone to the next SCAMMER.

I received a call from Clearview Communications regarding contract renewal for the new 3Vodafone entity.  Is this legitimate?

That call wouldn't have been arranged by Three. It would be best to block the number. If you've shared any details with the person and would like to have your Three account checked, pop through to the support team

Pete.

As far as a Google Search goes that company manufactures security systems and has nothing to do with renewing a Three UK contract!

I keep being called by that number every four hours but when i answer no one speaks

Not a scam. It’s a genuine Three number.

Hi @Paddiewack,

There's definitely a chance this one is genuine, but we can't be certain these days. The criminals who perpetrate the fraud can make it look like they're calling from any number. We can always call out the ones that are obvious scams like the ones using ordinary landlines and mobile numbers, but even with legit looking numbers it's best to double check with customer services if there's even a shred of doubt.

Thanks,
Jonathan
