The 0333 number does look like one of ours, but we'd never use an 01 number to get in touch. It sounds like this is possibly a case of "spoofing", as the call could have been faked from the 0333 number. Here's a link to our guidance on fraud to watch our for, with more info on how to report scams.
If you need to check if a call from Three is genuine, you'd need to check this with customer services, as we can't access your account on a public platform like the Community.
