Brand new Three customer started last week. Just had a text message in the same thread as all their welcome messages etc saying:
"Hi there, It's Three.
We've cancelled your £-8577.506 Low Balance Top-up auto-renewal because your payment failed.
To check that your saved card details are correct, just log in: three.co.uk/account"
Now I assumed this was nonsense, the negative in the number, the 3 decimal places. Random capitalisation of "Low Balance" I was only a bit concerned as it appeared in the same thread as Three's welcome messages last week and my account is auto-renew with a saved card. I have spoken to Three online chat and they have said yes this message was from Three but don't worry it's just a system error please ignore.
Did anybody else receive this text message?

Got the same message and wasn't my first top up- figured was just a glitch, glad to have confirmed but seems something for them to look at...

I had the same when first topped up. I just ignored it as a glitch. As account then shows in credit .
guessing this was your first top up

Aww thanks that's reassuring. I'm a new customer yeah, I haven't topped up any credit though, I was told to just save a card in my account and it'll just come off my card each month as it's an auto-renew payg SIM?

That's good that at least they've said it was an error, and that you can ignore it.

Yeah definitely. I cannot find 'low balance top-up' language used anywhere on their website though so it's a little odd.
