how to get International 200?

Sad-sad-sad
Fledgling

Hi all/Three (3), I'm afraid my new 3 (three) SIM is a disappointment because I am not getting 3 (three) mobile coverage in my home (never mind the "excellent" coverage that their online coverage checker promises for my post code). I tried going into the back lane and that works. I do wonder: Is 3 (Three) a serious provider or just a bunch of you-know-what? Anyway, having paid them £5, I guess I will have go out into the back lane when I need to make calls. My question for the forum is: after I had put £5 of credit in my new SIM I tried to get the International 200 Plan. However, when I order it, a message appears saying: "You can have only one active Data Plan on your SIM." But I have no other Data Plan. I only have £5 credit, as my Three (3) account confirms. Why is Three (3) thinking I already have another active Data Plan? Any help most welcome.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear the coverage hasn't been as strong as we hoped in your area. Indoor coverage can only ever be an estimate, but it may be worth checking our Network Status Checker, in case we're working on any issues nearby at the moment.

In terms of PAYG there's two types of pack; Data Packs and Add Ons. To use an Add On you do need to have a Data Pack in place first, and the 200 minutes International are an Add On. Sorry if this wasn't clear but you'd need to add one of our Data Packs for at least £10 monthly, then you should be able to apply the Add On for 200 International minutes.

Thanks,
Jonathan
