4G home broadband

BebbieNail1972
Fledgling

I've set it in every window, hung it outside, disabled 2.4Ghz so only 5Ghz, wired to WiFi and back, and 3G is only available and it's a poor signal coming to the Hub.

Everything is OK in the area to.

Three said 4G was improved now they joined Vodafone, hate to think what if was like if that is the case.

Anyone know why so bad.

ZTE MF286D = Cheap but definitely not cheerful hub.

Edmonton Green, London.

Hey there @BebbieNail1972,

I can see that we didn't hear back from you after you reported that you were only seeing 3G coverage for your 4G Home Broadband service.

Did you get a chance to connect with the Home Broadband team for some help with your account?

Thanks,
Michael

Hello.

Getting a 3G connection is quite surprising, the 3G network was mostly deactivated with only a few areas still left running it. If you're in an area that's still running 3G, this might explain why it's not running as good as you'd hoped. Those areas kept 3G because 4G wasn't ready to replace it locally at the time.

I don't have the ability to check for sure though, so I'd recommend reaching out to the Broadband Support Team to find out what's going on.

Pete.
