Help !
Have recently installed 3 5G broadband which has worked excellently.
today British Gas came to fit Hive central heating controls and the Hive hub will not link to the 3 5G hub.
Has anyone else tried this and successfully overcome the problem (or not had a problem?)
British Gas have taken the easy option and are saying that the 3 broadband hub is not compatible with their Hive hub (rather than work out a solution) ie Hive doesn’t work with 3 Broadband.
Any experience on this would be most welcome.

Hi @Archie1,
We never heard back from you, did you manage to find a solution to this issue?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @Archie1,
I can't recall any specific issues with Hive being mentioned on the Community before now, but some smart devices have been known to run into issues with our IPv6 APN.
There's a few topics from members who have figured out how to manually change the APN settings to IPv4 only such as FYI : IPv6 Prevented VPN Connection
Or the Broadband tech teams may be able to help update the settings from our end if you get in touch.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Thanks but it’s not an issue with the Hive app not connecting it’s specifically an issue with the Hive HUB not connecting with the 3 5G Broadband modem.
