We recently cancelled 2 x mobile wifi contracts (mifi), after several years past minimum term, but the advisor never said anything about returning the devices. There seems to be conflicting information on whether we need to return the devices or not. Even the advisor on chat cannot seem to decide whether they need to be returned or not. Any ideas?

Hi @jarec,
If you have an older 4G device, you shouldn't need to return it.
If a return is expected, you would have been sent automated communications about this and how to do so.
You'd also be sent a follow-up if there was an expectation to return the device.
Please double-check your device make and model.
Thanks,
Michael

The Terms and Conditions only refer to 5G devices needing to be returned. Given that I don't believe there are any 5G mifi devices and your contracts are several years old, I doubt you will have to return them. But refer to your original contract to put your mind at ease.

If it’s any guide I completed a two year contract with a mifi device very recently and when I asked I was told it was mine to keep;no doubt because it was 4g only.
