I switched over to Three a few months ago and was reasonably happy with it at first. Now, whenever I download large-ish files, my ethernet drops. Actually, everything drops, I just get disconnected, but then wifi comes back, but not the ethernet connection. For that I have to turn off everything for a few seconds and then back on, and everything goes back to working properly. Checked it with different files and downloads, same result every time. So that's clearly something that is being done deliberately by Three. Is there anything in the small print I missed? If so, please could somebody show me where it tells me in the contract for unlimited mobile broadband that there are restrictions on file size? And if not, does Three want to explain this to me, let me out of my contract and re-imburse me for switching over and dealing with this nonsense? Because advertising an 'unlimited' contract when there are indeed limitations on it would be false advertising, wouldn't it?

Alternatively, when you got the equipment new did you plug it in, let it set up and download the latest update under the Advanced / Device info tab and check the software version is v130.00100.113.039 which it should be (you cannot force a download update) and then perform a FACTORY RESET.
I read an article on here suggesting this was strongly advised to avoid what you describe. You can do this by accessing the user page and looking at the menu options. I’ve had no issues with the outdoor hub up until 2/3 April 2026.

I have the same problem here in Coventry so this is a potential national issue and as such I’m sure it will be attended to urgently.
we’ve gad this issue for about 3 days now, good signal from the cell site and when it works it works well but suddenly pages won’t load, speed tests won’t load or complete fully, the App Store will and won’t load occasionally too.
I’ve restarted iPhone iPad my own TP-Link router and Three outdoor Hub, even my Naim headphone streaming amp is cutting in and out so I’m confident this is a matter out of our hands. Hopefully we will see an improvement shortly.
Regards.
