Just unpacked my 5G external router and eero 6 , could someone please tell me what sort of figure I should be getting on the digital display on the hub. I was trying it indoors as a temporary measure and it started around 22 then would go to around 69 - 71. Sometimes with 4g blue light then the 5g blue light. Speeds were around 83mb. This waz just a temporary setup until I find best position bit would like to know what number on the display relates ti tge best signal/ highest speeds please
Thanks in advance
Mick

My hub is mounted on a mast above the roof,
My signal strength ranges between 61 and 92 with an average of 77 (I collect data hourly)
My computer speeds tests range from 220Mbps to 540Mbps with a median 440Mbps though the eero reports much higher speeds.
During initial setup I was getting very variable speeds but this turned out to be due to problems with my laptops wireless setting that I have since resolved but it means I am not sure what speeds I was really seeing when the hub was indoors. It is best to use a wired connection to the eero when measuring speeds
Remember to take a copy of the hub password before mounting it outside.
