I had a 3 Huawei broadband hub for many years but the wifi calling became problematic so 3 suggested I change to their new 5 G hub. However, I can not get the Cannon MG3550 printer to connect to the new 5 ghz Hub. I went back to the shop and apparently there can be problems with connecting 5G to older printers. It was suggested I put the IP address into the browser log in and change 5 ghz to 2.5 or if that does not work set to Guest wifi. However, I can not find any where in the IP site to do this. I would be grateful for any suggestions. I am not very Tech savvy so simple basic instructions appreciated!

Hello there.
Welcome to the Three Community.
You should be able to find the address you are supposed to go to on the bottom or back of your hub. It will start with 192.168.
If you're not tech savvy, it might be best to avoid changing the settings on the hub. If you have a mobile phone with data, and a tablet or other computer handy, you can try another method of working round the problem.
Go into your mobile phones Personal Hotspot and change the name of the network so that it's identical to your 5G hubs name, then set the password in there so that it's the same as your 5G hub as well. If the phone has a setting to enable 2.4ghz only in the hotspot settings, enable that.
Then turn your 5G hub off. Use a computer or tablet, whatever device you use to set up your printer, and connect your printer to your mobile phone hotspot network. Once it has connected and the set up process is completed, turn your hotspot off, and then turn your 5G hub back on. The printer should connect normally once the Hub has fully started up.
