Around 2-3 days ago my latency has experienced spikes while playing games, usually i get around 20-30ms, now its 25-600ms with spikes.
I live around W3 in London, i have tried everything, checking my Lan cable, resetting my hub and network status.

In Manchester area and also having this issue. The Network status checker is saying there is working going on in the area, however I am fairly certain this issue started before it said this? Is there any way to get more detail on the work being done? Area is M32 ***.

Hi @Gorrie59282,
Sorry to hear you've been experiencing similar issues. It's best not to share your full postcode in a public forum. Customer services may be able to share a little more insight on a network problem, but generally they can't say much more than when it started, and an estimate on when we're hoping to have the issue resolved.
Please let us know if the engineering work clears this up for you in the next few days, I'm continuing to pass feedback along about this issue.
Thanks,
Jonathan

In Leeds area and having exact same issue. Normald download speeds remain but have had very high ping (300+) for the last week and a half making games unplayable. Changing the APN made no difference for me. Hoping this is fixed soon.

Hi @Venny,
Thanks for reporting this, we've had a few confirmations that the three.co.uk APN is a workaround from similar reports. Just in case this isn't a related issue have you checked the Network Status Checker? This may help determine if there's a local mast fault.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Switching apn from 3internet to three.co.uk solved it for me, was experiencing this exact problem - Three needs to look into it

I have been having this Issue as well for nearly 2 weeks now. download and upload speed has not changed but my latency goes from 30ms-500ms. Been using the internet service for 2 years with no issues until now.

Hey, im having the same issue, specifically seeing latency spikes on applications like discord or dns requests for sites. Just replying to see if a mod could assist. 🙂
Also you should try google's public dns in replacement, seems to drop the latency by a bit.

Hi @Jawaad,
We've seen a few posts about latency and ping issues recently, so I've flagged the feedback in case there is some sort of network issue. Are you getting good speeds, but disproportionately high ping?
It may not be suitable for your networking set up, but one community member has mentioned changing their APN from 3internet to three.co.uk here: Slow Xbox gaming speeds
three.co.uk is the mobile data APN, so it uses CG NAT, and won't support some features like port forwarding, but may help depending on your set up, and may point to whether it's a similar issue.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi @mbedna123, @Joe_W89,
I've linked a thread above that could possibly be linked, and the OP mentioned a workaround that may help.
Thanks,
Jonathan
