I've got a Sercomm LTE2122GR 4G Hub. Getting between 50MB & 100MB on speedtest which is normal for me but I'm experiencing a problem with large file downloads.
Only getting a constant 10-12MB when downloading large files. I noticed this when I've been trying to download the latest version of Windows 11 25H2 as an ISO file. I've done this before and it usually only took about 10 mins or so to do but at the download speeds I'm getting now this is now going to take nearly 2 hours.
Tried a few other sites like Nvidia/Steam for driver/game downloads & getting the same speeds there so I don't think it's a website problem.
I've tried rebooting the hub etc & it hasn't sorted it. Anyone got any ideas ? I don't really want to phone up support as I haven't found them very helpful in the past & I struggle on the phone anyway because I have ASD.
Are Three now deliberately throttling large file downloads ??
I've been with Three for over 2 years & I've not had this problem before and have only noticed this in the last few weeks or so.
I'm in the Northfleet/Gravesend area.
P.S I get the same thing when downloading large files on my laptop so I don't think it's a problem with my desktop PC.

Interesting, do you know how to change the APN on your router?

Hi there,
I've been through all the settings on my router in expert mode & I cannot find anything that says APN.
I've also had the chance to test this on a fresh new Windows 11 (25H2) install with up to date network drivers etc. & I still get the same problem.
