Y5-210MU New software release 130.00100.113.039

MymsMan
Rising star

I recently noticed that on Jan 29 the software on my external hub was updated from 130.00100.113.024 to 130.00100.113.039

Is there a change log that shows what has changed in this release?

Has anyone else been updated (I won't use the word upgraded)

Differences that I have seen:

  • TR069 settings now no longer appear on the Advanced->System Menu of the web interface
Bad news for anyone still suffering frequent disconnection -though this hasn't been reported as often in the last few months.
  • There is new Transmitted and Received data fields in the usage data information, they are not yet shown on the webpage but they caused some problems for my tracking spreadsheet.
  • Instead of the huge amount of logging with the old release they are now only logging errors which is far too little!  There is now nothing useful shown in the logs.  A reasonable compromise would be to log .notice and higher records.
  • The debug kernel warning messages no longer appear in the early_system.log but this may just because of the change to the logging level recorded!
  • An error is logged every time you logon to the hub

Thanks for this. I'm still on the *.024 version (i had tr069 disabled) and don't plan to let it "upgrade".

Did you notice any speed improvement (given debug logging no longer hogs the cpu) or stability improvement? Anywhere we can download the 024 firmware? Last year when I looked I couldn't find any. It seemed greeenpacket doesn't sell or deal with consumers at all.

I also see a new Diagnose as a top menu. Now the engineer page can actually show CA Information (NR PCC/SCC).

But also new WIFI and Voice setting under the advance menu which I believe is error.

I don't think the IP pass through mode is real as well. I can't access my self host as well
