5G on Apple Watch Ultra 3

I get a really good 5G signal around my home on my iPhone 16 pro max - usually over 500mb download.

i have a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 (5G capable) shared on my plan. My watch only ever shows 4G.

Anyone else. I’ve read I may need to enable ‘standalone 5G’ on my account. Which seems strange as my iPhone is fine on 5G?

I am now with EE & 5G on Apple Watch works fine but had to enable 5G SA on the watch sim.

( as Three do not have 5G SA despite merger with Vodafone, still not. I guess this is a clue to your issue. Maybe Three will catch-up in due course )
