Hi everyone. I think I have found the solution to the error message you receive when pairing your Apple Watch to your mobile plan

 

if you experience the dreaded

 

THERES A PROBLEM. Please note that you can’t progress to new subscription as you already have an existing one which is still in progress”.

 

You have no choice but to ring three and ask them to change your phone number if you REALLY want mobile data plan again on your Apple Watch. 

I am hoping as this has been finally highlighted. Three will try and fix this as it is not ideal having to change your phone number just for this reason!

Hi, sorry to say but that makes no sense and defeats the logic of wearable services...

Hi mate

I had literally tried everything and the only thing that would work was changing my number which isn’t an issue to me. But I get what you are saying it is for others.

I hate admin work, specially if it involves letting all providers your phone number has changed. 
Glad that in the end it worked for you too (nothing worse than paying for a service an not working as expected)
