Hi - new member here
I joined Three 8 months ago and at the time I signed up, I was asked if I needed a 4G or a 5G sim
At the time I only had a phone capable of 4G so chose the 4G option
I've now upgraded my phone to a 5G ready phone so my question is will I need to change my sim to a 5G sim and if so, how do I do this?
Thanks in advance

Hello, Eurohomme.
Welcome to the Three Community.
No, you don't need to replace your SIM card in order to get 5G. Just pop the SIM into a 5G ready phone and it will work whenever you're in a 5G area.
I'm unsure why you were offered one or the other at the time, but there are no SIM cards on Three that are 5G specific.
Pete.

I put an old Three SIM into my new 5G 'phone and I appear to be getting 5G speeds ; download speeds of 400Mbps.
Have you put your old SIM into your new 'phone and then tried a speedtest ?
