Please advise. My 2 year old sim is not able to connect to a Vodafone network. I know there are yechnical issues with the 3 network at postcode FY2 ***, but I assumed the Vodafone netwirk would not be affected. I use 5G for remote working, so i need a quick solution. Please be so kind as to advise.
I do not have or wish to have a broadband connection at this address as it is a short term rental.
Thank you and kind regards,
Paul

A Three SIM can't connect to the vodafone network, or vice versa. Instead the masts are upgraded to Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) which allows Three SIM's to "see" the vodafone mast as a Three one. Your device will still show you are connected to Three's network.
You can read more about it here - VodaThree MOCN
It sounds like there is a problem in your area, maybe they are currently upgrading the masts to MOCN, which does appear to result in some down time ☹️
